Budget for Sammakka Saralamma Jathara
The state government has decided to spend a massive Rs.80 crore Fifty five Lakhs fifty seven thousand for next year’s Sammakka Sarakka Jatara, one of the most famous Jatara of the state. The jatara is scheduled to be held from january 31st,2018 to February 3,2018, next year. A decision to this effect was taken during the meeting of a cabinet sub commit constituted for the purpose. The meeting was chaired by state Endowments minister A.Indra Karan Reddy on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion the minister has asked the officials to make the jatara more successful than Godavari Pushkaralu. He said that detailed proposals pertaining to development programs and arrangements to be made would be prepared by the end of this month. He said that they have months of time to take up the works and make the event a grand success. The minister has also said that they are expecting over 1.25 crore people would participate in the mega jatara.
